How do I print my 2016-17 AUP & Insurance Form?

The WCHS Acceptable Use Policy/Insurance Agreement is attached below. (pdf) Please scroll down to the bottom of this page and click the down arrow to download it for printing.

Grades 10-12 Student Google Accounts were disabled on August 1.

All 10-12th grade student google accounts were disabled on August 1. Your account will be re-enabled when your 2016-17 Insurance Payment is made and your signed AUP is turned in. If your account was disabled during the summer due to inappropriate use, you will need to talk to Mr. Mayes before we can turn your account back on.

    AUP and Insurance Info

Please print out the first page of the ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY & INSURANCE, fill it out, have both you and a parent/guardian sign it, and bring it with you along with the $25 cash/check on your AUP/Insurance Collection day in August. If you don’t have a way to print the AUP at home, copies are available at both the Front and Main Offices. We will also have copies of the AUP available at the Technology Parent Night on Monday, August 1 and at Open House on Monday, August 15. All enrolled students must turn in a signed AUP each year.

    Please make sure:

-your parent/guardian has signed your AUP.

-your parent/guardian has given permission for you to use the school's technology.

(this includes use of our desktop computers, iPads, tablets, etc., as well as the chromebooks.)

-you have the $25 insurance money with you if you plan to take your chromebook home during the school year. (cash or check only, please)

AUP/Insurance Payment Collection and Chromebook Roll-Out dates:

Monday, August 15 - HS Library

-All Grades (during Open House, 5:30-7:00 pm)  Incoming Freshmen can get their chromebook & bag on this day.

Wednesday, August 17 - HS Library

-Any student who has not turned in their AUP and/or not paid their insurance can come down to the HelpDesk during the first three days of school.

Students who are new to the District:  If you are brand new to the district, please be aware that you will not receive your chromebook until after school starts on August 17. You can turn in your signed AUP and insurance payment to the HelpDesk at any time (the earlier the better) but we cannot issue you a chromebook until you are in our system and your accounts have been created.

Returning Students needing a Chromebook:  If you are a former student who is returning to the district this school year and you don't have a chromebook assigned to you, you can pick one up during any of the AUP/Insurance collection times as long as 1) you are still in our system and 2) you don’t have any outstanding library or tech fines. Just bring your AUP and Insurance money and let the Tech Department know that you went to school here before but you don’t have a chromebook checked out.

Students Who Choose to Opt-Out of Chromebook Insurance:  Opting out of chromebook insurance means you cannot take your chromebook home and you will be placed into Check In/Check Out. You can bring your signed AUP to one of the above insurance payment days or to the HelpDesk in the Library on the first day of school. You will not be assigned your Check In/Check Out chromebook until after school starts and you will need to go through a short orientation first.

    Current Check in/Check Out Students:

Your Chromebook will be available for you to check out on the first day of school, but you will need to turn in your 2016-17 AUP (signed by a parent/guardian) no later than Friday, August 19 or your account will be deactivated again until you turn it in. You can bring your signed AUP to one of the insurance collection times above or you can bring it to the HelpDesk on the first day of school.
