    ARE YOU GETTING A LOGIN PROMPT EVERY TIME YOU OPEN A NEW TAB?

    FIX:  Go into Chrome Settings.
            Scroll all the way down and click 
    "Show Advanced Settings" 
            Scroll all the way down again and click the "Reset Settings" button. 
            Click the "Reset" button. 
            Close out of Chrome.
            Reopen Chrome. The prompts should stop.

    If you can't get to the settings on your chromebook, please come down to the HelpDesk.

    CHROMEBOOKS AT HOME/OFF CAMPUS:
    When you use your chromebook off campus, you will need to log in to the filter when prompted. Use the first part of your email address and the current password for your chromebook.  Example:  doejon1990 / Spotismydog2015


    RESTRICTED VIDEOS? PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE SIGNED IN TO YOUTUBE WITH YOUR SCHOOL ACCOUNT If you are trying to watch a video in Canvas and it says it's restricted for you but it plays for other students, please make sure you are signed into YouTube with your school account. Also, if you have a creator account associated with your school email, you need to make sure your school account is chosen, not the creator account. On the video's menu, you will see the word YouTube in the bottom right corner. Click that to open the video in YouTube. (a new tab will open) If the video still says it's restricted, check to see if you are signed in with your school account. (you should see your google profile picture) If not, click the blue Sign In button over at the right and choose your school google account, not a personal or creator account. Once you are signed in to YouTube with your school account, the video should play. 


    ARE YOU HAVING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ISSUES?

        - you can't change your background wallpaper.     - you can't get to Apps to take class tests.     - your chromebook doesn't show the blue & white Google "Sign in to your Chromebook" window when you sign out.     - you are not receiving school emails on your chromebook.     - you don't have all the apps and extensions on your chromebook after you log in.

    Please come to the HelpDesk in the Library to get the issue fixed. Before you bring us your chromebook, make sure the files that are in your Downloads folder are copied into to your Google Drive or you will lose them.

After clicking the play button twice, if the video says it is unavailable in restricted mode, click "YouTube" on the bottom right side of the menu.
